Race Equity Webinar Watch Parties

Race Equity Analysis
Many food councils have expressed their interest in having a better understanding of a race equity analysis and how to use it in their work. We are working to embed a race equity lens in all aspects of our work, as structural racism deeply drives our past and current food system.
This work starts with more learning and more conversations with community. This Race Equity and Inclusion webinar series hosted by the Children’s Trust of South Carolina in collaboration with several other organizations is a great place to start. The purpose of the webinar series is to provide individuals and organizations with the foundational knowledge needed to integrate race equity and inclusion into programs, policies, and practices.
We’re hosting Webinar Watch Parties since registrations are limited and to encourage more dialogue after the webinars. We encourage other food councils to do the same. Organizations that complete all four webinars in the series will receive public acknowledgement for their commitment to building a strong foundation of knowledge in the field of race equity and inclusion.
