Your voice and perspective on our local food system and community is important.  Your role as a council member is to help shape the kind of food future you want to see for yourself and your neighbors.  As a council member you will have the chance to network and build relationships that allow deeper partnership and collaboration in our local community, region, and across the state. This orientation packet serves as a tool to ground you in the purpose and possibilities of food councils; as well as, in our food council’s specific work.
