The 2024 Regional Community Food Gatherings
The 2024 Regional Community Food Gatherings are three events co-hosted this fall by Community Food Strategies, regional representatives from the NC Local Food Council, and local food coalitions. These gatherings will bring together farm and food system leaders, public service and nonprofit leaders, key partners, and community food advocates to discuss the biggest needs in regional food value chain development.
The goals of the 2024 Regional Community Food Gatherings are to:
Build our collective list of food system investments and policies you want your community to get behind.
Build energy to encourage those investments and policies.
Be inspired by the work happening across the region.
Connect and celebrate over great food.
You are welcome to attend an event outside of your home region. Your participation is crucial for their success. Please register for the gathering(s) you will attend below.
*Travel reimbursement will be offered for participants who are traveling further than 60 miles round trip.
