Urge Congress to Fund November SNAP Benefits and Avoid Deepening Hunger Crisis

Many of us are steeped in this issue, and even for those who aren’t, it’s all over the news — 42 million Americans are at risk of losing critical SNAP benefits on November 1st. Please see MAZON’s action alert below, calling on Congress and USDA to use every tool possible to ensure that SNAP benefits keep flowing, including contingency funds that are available now.

Given this urgent crisis, we are calling for a SNAP Day of Action tomorrow, October 28th, and we hope you’ll join us in any way that you can — i.e. posting from your personal and professional social media accounts, sending action alert emails to your networks, raising this urgent concern in lobby meetings.
