The Food Coalition Solidarity Funds is the reimagined version of our previously offered Discretionary Funds, this updated version of community allocated dollars aims to support cooperative, mutual aid, and community-led work more explicitly.
Community Food Strategies will accept requests and nominations from current and emerging food coalitions for work in alignment with community food resilience values: equity, sustainability, cooperation, collective governance, and community wealth-building. Also known as solidarity economics, these values guide Community Food Strategies.

Complete this form to request or nominate another coalition to be gifted $1,000 to support your/their work. The form questions include the name of the food coalition, how funds will be used, amount of funds requested, contact information, and information of who and where to send the check.
Our team will review requests on a monthly-basis until funds are exhausted. Applicants will receive a response with a decision within the month of submission. Funds will be distributed via check within one week of acceptance. Ask any questions to info@communityfoodstrategies.org *We also accept donations on our website that directly support the fund.*
