Amy serves as the Program Coordinator for ASAP’s Local Food Research Center. She leads ASAP’s internal evaluations and conducts research on the impacts of local food system development in the Southern Appalachians. She has lived in Western North Carolina for nearly a decade and holds a Master’s degree in Urban Studies and Alternative Food Systems. Amy is the research brain on the Community Food Strategies team. She helps us to track and evaluate the impact of our team’s work and she supports councils’ in understanding their food system through data. When she’s not crafting the perfect spreadsheet, you can find her in her garden or out on the mountain bike trails.
