Everett Campbell: Policy Team Member

MDC, Program Coordinator

 

 

Everett Campbell serves as a Program Coordinator for MDC’s Rural Prosperity and Investment team, joining in October 2023. Everett is passionate about supporting projects rooted in gender and racial equity and currently supports rural community development and capacity-building initiatives across the South through coordination, policy research, and facilitation. 

 

Everett received their Social Work degree from the University of Nevada, where they began their involvement in community outreach related to housing reform and addiction recovery resources, later working at a women’s and families shelter and connecting residents to locally grown food through community gardens. These experiences sparked their passion for rural prosperity and the significance of implementing programs that are community and place centered. Everett joined the Community Food Strategies team in April 2026 and is happily located in Durham, NC with their two cats.
