Jenn Tuft: Team Member
WNC Food Coalition
Jenn lives in the Appalachian mountains of Western North Carolina. She works for the WNC Food Coalition and joined the Community Food Strategies team as the Western Lead. She has a Bachelors in Sociology and a Bachelors in Spanish from Temple University and spent the first decade of her career working in non-profit research departments, primarily in the United Kingdom, pursuing a desire to contribute to position social change. When she realized the transformative and healing power of food in her own life, she transitioned to full-time cooking and hobby gardening. In her third year with the WNC FSC, she’s excited to be working with local food councils, free-pantry projects, commercial kitchen startups and food hub collaboratives.
