Training through practical community-oriented courses, hands-on workshops, featuring localized content, expands community engagement capacity and enriches members’ strengths at analyzing local, economic and food systems priorities and formulates and implements effective strategies among the member network. Work on technical assistance and training is managed by a decentralized network of regional experts.
TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES COMING SOON
New training courses are offered—for example, in the areas of inclusive growth, financial strategies, and external vulnerabilities in council development. In view of these linkages, achieving greater integration between technical assistance, training, network development and council operations is a key priority for the Community Food Strategies team. Technical assistance and training cover core areas of our expertise. Our team provides training courses in a number of disciplines, including Dynamic Governance, (Circle Forward) funding linkages, public engagement, priorities and the bigger picture focus, balance and network frameworks. The courses are customized to your needs and will become available online.
